(DMC)
Hello fellow artist(s). For the first time of my life I am planning on to make a DevilMayCry manga/comic and I just post up the first page just now, so let me now how my DMC drawing style is and let me know how if I did well, so that I may make another in the future. Believe it or not this is my first time drawing a manga and well its not as easy but its fun. Well it’s a good start; obviously I am working on the last two pages right now. My hand hurts but I must continue on…~stomach grumbles~ As soon as I get something to eat.

Oh, are you interested in just the art or the comic style?

Whole in whole, all you really need it a pencil and paper. However, I usually carry a regular pencil, a .5 mechnical pencil, a .7 mechnical pencil, an inking pen, and a good eraser [[I use Hi-Polymer]]. I also use my sketchbook, which is basically a small 1" binder with printer paper. However any paper is good to get started on.

I also carry extra lead, pencils, pens, and erasers because I'm prone to leaving things in places and losing them.

To just draw, that's basically what you need if you want to do line art. After that, you just take stuff from reference pictures or create your own style.

Many artists who don't like to bother with compter programs and things like that use copic markers, acrylics, watercolors, charcol, ink, colored pencils, and so on.

However, there are programs out there that also delve into computer art. Some include Photoshop, Painter, and so on. If you want to do this, I suggest you get a tablet. Wacom is a good company to look through. However, these are all very expensive.

Many artists just scan their inked art work onto the computer, instead of using a tablet. However, that makes it hard to color. [[That's my opinion.]]

With that, you can also use that to draw the comic style!

There are programs to help you learn how to do things like a comic. You could also do it the old fashion way in which you just practice from looking at different comic layouts.
